Normal office hours, are from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm from Monday through Friday.

This office registers voters and manages elections for York County. All new voter registrations and changes of address, name, or party affiliation must be recorded and maintained. Anyone who wishes to register to vote must complete a voter registration form. This form is available through the Elections/Voter Registration Office, party headquarters, and most post offices and libraries throughout York County.   

          Managing the elections of York County includes:  

  • developing ballots and preparing voting machines

  • handing out petitions and providing street lists to candidates

  • informing voters through advertisements of upcoming elections

  • maintaining county election records

  • establishing polling places, local election boards, and districts

  • answering questions about elections

  •
